Andrew (Andy) Nastoff was appointed Judge of Common Pleas Court, General Division on January 12, 2005. He served as Acting Judge of Fairfield Municipal Court from January, 2001 until his appointment to the Common Pleas Bench.

Prior to service on the bench, Judge Nastoff maintained an active, private law practice with emphasis on criminal litigation. Judge Nastoff also served as an Assistant Butler County Prosecuting Attorney assigned to the Felony Criminal Division and served as an Assistant Law Director for the City of Hamilton.

Judge Nastoff served almost four years (42 months) of active duty in the United States Army J.A.G. Corps. Judge Nastoff served as a military prosecutor for the 1st Infantry Division “Big Red One” at Fort Riley, Kansas. He also served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Kansas while on active military duty. Judge Nastoff is a 1988 cum laude graduate of Youngstown State University and a 1991 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law.

Judge Nastoff is a member of the Butler County Bar Association, Hamilton Rotary Club, Masonic Lodge #678, and American Legion Lodge #138. He also serves as a member of the Butler County Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services Board.
