The Stalking Civil Protection Order Office of the General Division of the Butler County Common Pleas Court assists victims of stalking or threats of violence by providing the forms and information they need to obtain a Stalking Civil Protection Order (SCPO).
The office facilitates the court's processing of these cases by screening victims to see if they qualify to petition the court for a protection order, scheduling cases, maintaining the court's SCPO docket, attending hearings to give and receive pertinent information about cases, and processing the court's order and filing it with the Clerk of Courts.
The Stalking Civil Protection Order Office is committed to serving the public in a courteous and professional manner.
The Stalking Civil Protection Order Office is located in the Government Services Center, 315 High Street, Third Floor, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. To reach the office, you must enter through the second floor security area then proceed to the third floor.
Hearings are conducted on a first come-first served basis at the following times:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Thursday at 11:00 a.m. ONLY - No afternoon hearings.
Friday at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Before having a hearing you must first file a petition with the Butler County
Clerk of Court's office, located on the 5th floor of the Government Services
Center. For your convenience and to facilitate a shorter waiting period, it is best
if you arrive at the clerk's office at least 30 minutes prior to those hearing times.
